Chrome For Android: Clear Cache, History, & Cookies

Google Chrome caches the web pages you visit so they can be accessed quicker the next time you visit a page. If you are a web developer looking to see the changes you made on a web page or you just want to clear some space on your Android, clear the cache, history, and cookies using these steps.

Option 1

1. While in Google Chrome, press the “Menu”  button and select “History“, or type “chrome://history/” in the address bar, tap “Go“.

3. Select the “Clear Browsing Data…” button at the bottom of the screen.

5. Check the “Clear browsing history“, “Clear cookies, site data“, or “Clear the cache” boxes, along with any other options as desired, then tap “Clear“.
   

Option 2

1. Open the “Chrome” browser app.
2. Select the “Menu”  icon in the upper-right corner of the screen.
3. Choose “Settings“.
4. Select “Privacy” in the left pane.
5. Select the “Menu”  icon in the upper-right corner of the screen.
6. Choose “Clear browsing data“.
7. Check the following items as desired:
• Clear browsing history
• Clear the cache
• Clear cookies, site data
• Clear saved Passwords
• Clear autofill data
8. Select “Clear“, and the data will be cleared.
